Help please,
I have a nissan micra 03 (new model) and the EML has come on.Had this problem before on the old model of a nissan micra and took it to a garage they run it through the diagnostic machine for free.This time in my 'newer' micra a garage has quoted me £75 pound to run it through the diagnostic to find a fault code.As my car is old and dont want to fork out £75 to find a code which may lead to an expensive job (which may not be worht having done) could i ring the RAC/AA and be vague with the problem and would they have the same diagnostic equipment to find the fault code?At the moment the car 'kangaroos' abit and isnt really that safe to drive do you think the aa or rac would use a diagnostic device???
