Dropping doors

hello forum can anyone give me some advice on how i could raise my doors on my micra
i have seen a photo of someone raising them with some wood would it be possible to
raise them with a car jack with a block of wood under the door sill or something similer
to my idea

Usually when the doors drop it because the hinges are worn. Jacking the door up with some wood would lift it but it will drop down again when you take the jack out! :laugh:

Best way to change and adjust the door hinges, in my opinion is to remove the front wing. Shut the door and bolt the new hinges on. There is a small amount of adjustment in the bottom hinge.

When the door hinges are adjusted you may have to tweak the lock striker to get the door to fit flush. Easy!

yeh with them ben'up spanners and the door open
or better hinges from "getawaycar"
