Clutch whistle??

Hi, i have a 1996 1.3 SR, when i depress the clutch about an inch, the box makes a whislte noise. Further in than that and it stops. Clutch doesnt slip, and the power is there. Any ideas? Box/ clutch/ plate? Any help would be good. Cheers.

Ok, thanks. As far as i can see/ find, im as well to buy a complete clutch kit? And also, if you know, standard clutches are capable of taking about 100bhp? is that right?

my little (pre98 1.0) 160mm clutch is holding up well to 100ish hp, so your 180mm one should be capable of much more imo

I have that with my k10, when i put a 5-speed box on it. It only does it when it's up in the revs but is sounds like a little turbo whistle so it's all good lol.
