I don't think the paperwork helps though. If they come and investigate they have to fill out loads of paperwork before they can get back to "policing". I think that puts them off investigating "minor"crimes. It's not right but I can understand it, they signed up to be police officers not secretaries. If their paperwork was cut down I'm sure they would be more keen to investigate stuff.

Unfortunately that's not likely to happen any time soon :down:

(Y) Out of 8 hours on duty an average of 6hours is spent on paperwork. It takes on average 2 hours of follow up work at the station after an arrest of an individual.

I agree about the police officers on a power trip but dont forget they are here to help n without them life would be alot harder than it is now
