Can you put a Pre-Facelift engine in a Facelift?

Simple question (I think), can I put a 1.3 engine from a 1993 dizzy based micra into a 1.0 litre year 2000 micra which is coil pack based. The main thing being do you have to change the wiring loom or can you just plug the 1.3 ecu into the 1.0 litre loom.

Loom is different, connectors are different driveshafts are different. Its a big job, get the 1.4 or put the 1.0 coilpack on the 1.3 block with the 1.0 flywheel amd 1.3 cams
