Can NATS be removed disconnected or deactivated?

In the middle of building a 1.3 micra rally car the base car is a 99' 1.3 si with NATS just wondered if there's a way to deactivate the NATS? Couple of reasons why I want to get rid of it one is I'm removing the steering lock and ignition barrel and using push button start and two don't want it immobilising the car by mistake in the middle of a rally

you would probably need a nistune daughterboard fitted to remove nats eh, or else get the pinouts changed in order to run a pre-nats ecu, or else fit a pre-nats ecu and loom

Nistune does NOT remove nats.

I've not announced this yet, but I guess now is a good time.

You have two options. New one: Provided the origional ECU is NOT damaged. I can modify the stock OEM NATS ECU and remove nats from it.

The second (old) option is I can supply you another ecu without nats that will plug right in.

Contact me fia fusion website for more info.

Oh I'm also the only one who can offer this :)

So it would not cause harm to the engine to run it on a 1.0 ecu?
As I have one that has had NATS removed already

it compromises your powerband, mine still has the 1,0 ecu in and when i retarded the spark on the 3rd dyno run it showed gains, but then it makes it laggy lower down, i always run it advanced, (15 btdc) and just sacrifice the topend
