what would need to be added for a go-kart like micra ?

lowering springs ? (35mm lowering springs , compressed an extra 35mm ? total 70mm stiff/hard springs)

front srtut brace ?

and what else ? castor/camber / panhard rod ? and what are the advantages of each ?

thanks (this is for k10, k11, k12, but i will be implementing on k11)

the whiteline antiroll bars are the best suspension mod in my mind, by quite a long stretch too. then some really godd tyres, then

If you want your mirca the Whiteline anti-roll bars are the best suspension mod in my mind, by quite a long stretch too. then some really good tyres.

Following those some good shocks, then some springs

Basically buy the full whiteline catalogue you won’t regret it

That is the setup i have on my car and when setup well the handling is just awesome.

Dampers: Koni Adjustables (internally shortened to suit whiteline setup)
Springs: Whiteline -42mm springs front and rear
Anti-roll bars: Whiteline 22mm heavy duty swaybar front
Whiteline 22mm Adjustable HD rear swaybar
Strutbrace: Whiteline upper and lower control braces
Panhard Rod: Whiteline adjustable panhard rod
Camber: Whiteline adjustable camber bolt kit
Castor: Whiteline castor / traction control arm

springs only really keep the ride height. Dampers and a good anti roll bar & panhard rod set up, with strut braces wud give good cornering.

so what do i need and how much ?

dont want to buy the whole range , just a few products (approx 100 + vatish) to make it handle better

i have springs + front upper strut brace already

Ok, well the bit I would recommend for an instant transformation would be the front and rear sway bars that Whiteline do, or nismo ones I’m sure they are just as good.

They really push the tyres into the floor on the corners and you can feel the difference so much they are an incredible addition to your suspension setup. Basically, turn in and they bite…HARD. And they really hold well on the corners. High speed cornering is a real pleasure and also the twisty stuff.

Heavy duty swaybar –FR product code: WHIBNF31 – price £65.25
Swaybar R – product code: WHIBNR29XZ – price £65.25

I got mine from demon tweaks, http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/

I spoke to a guy called Paul White IIRC, nice man will help you out I’m sure

If you are wanting to keep the costs down then you could just get a whole new set of polyurethane bushes from Matt Humphris (mph on the forums) I think.

Also, regarding your break refurb kit question in another thread you should get:

Seal kit – product number N4112911L27 – price£36.80
Hardware Kit – product number N4108054C26 – price £24.10

These can also be sourced from Matthew.

Websites that I’m sure can get all of these bits are…

Fusion Motorsport

Humphris Oxford

i can vouch for whiteline stuff also, before i took the car off the road (for the project not cos i crashed it :D) the grip always seemed to be never ending...thats on top of the 35mm drop i got alongside. :) with the whiteline you wont have much spare change from a complete setup but its deffo not a "i think its a made a difference" its a "bloody hell what a difference".

opps, i completly missed the links ??????

goodness knows how. demon tweeks is terrible for finding the products too.

gona make a list now :)

thanks everyone
