Well Ive been away from this forum for literally years, but im back and have just gone out and purchased a Nissan Micra K11 Tempest. Wasn't the one i wanted, i really wanted a 1.3 Super S, but when one comes up il have that instead :)

So for those who don't know me i own Alltorqueuk.com which specialises in Nissan Skyline parts. I own a 536BHP (at the wheels) R32 Time Attack car which is as we speak undergoing a rebuild with more power and better handling and setup etc.

Now your probably thinking i have **** loads of money in that case, well no. I have a kid on the way in 7 weeks to add to the usual bills going out. I don't do to bad, but im not in the same league as my friends at Abbey motorsport, Sumo power etc, but i do try and hold my own :)

I started years ago by joining this forum as i bought a K10 Super S (Now owned by my friend nexussteve) Fitted an exhaust, some nice mini wheels and a Bogbros setup running R1 bike carbs...

After last Saturday some twat wrote off my runaround, a Ford fiesta TDCI. It was on finance, but luckily i had insurance covering it to be paid off in case of a situation like this. So I went out and started to look for a Micra. After buying a K12 160SR for my mum this was an obvious choice, but i decided i no longer wanted finance looming over my head so went out and bought a K11 1.4 to start off with for £640 :)

So now im going to build on this, not sure just how serious yet, but may swap the bits over onto a Super S once I find one, depending how much difference it will be to tune and mess around with a 1.4 :)

So ideas so far are a nice set of Rota BM8's and a Impul or Nismo spoiler to get the ball rolling after i give the car a full service and a check over :)
 
Not yet but I'm thinking of binning the facelift bumper and parking sensors and going for a super s or standard with a Nismo lip...
 
Well gave the poor Micra a service yesterday... needed it! The plugs were awful, the air filter was black, oily and full of straw and oil wasn't too bad. All done know and also removed the horrible pointless heat shield off the front pipe as it buzzed in certain revs, just like it did on my K10 Super S!

Ive also used Autoglym Black dye on the rear lower "splitter" area and on the front bumper as having these grey looked ****e :)

Got some new dash lights in white as the old ones had given up, and OEM black grilles which will make the front look better...

Now to get some funds together and buy a **** load of Nismo parts and those Rota BM8's :D
 
Right lights behind the dash are fine apart from one so ive decided im going for Super S clocks, so if anyone has a set for sale il take them. Also does anyone know if the plug already there goes straight in the Super S clocks and picks up on the pulse for the rev counter?
 
Just checking you've fitted the correct spark plugs? as you need different ones for the coil packs as opposed to the type used in the dizzy engines. Only mentioning it so you don't have the hassle of eml lights and dodgy running later on. :)
 
Cool il look for a 1.4 sport+ set then. Yes its a single connector. And yes right spark plugs, all is running great :)

Just waiting for my OEM black grilles to come through and they will be fitted next :)

Would love to source an Impul kit but i like the nismo kit, but think il need to find a blister fender kit or something to widen it all up :)

Btw does anyone know if all 2 door rear bumpers fit each other?

the tailpipe cutout is the only difference i believe :)
 
The button on the gear surround is an aftermarket device called traffic master i think unsure what it does tho :S
 
Welcome back. Am rather jealous of that skyline though. Any chance of a picture of that? :D.
Micras are ALWAYS the obvious choice ;).
 
Next step is wheels, anyone know exactly what i can fit under there for everyday use. I want 15" Rotas but 7 or 8J? Or is it best to go 7J and use spacers?

I use 6.5j 15's running 20mm spacers et38 I think :) as flush as I can get without rolling arches :)

Right well I'm now a dad as my Son Max is now here so been rather busy :) poor Micra has been neglected as any spare time has been used on the Gtr. Looking to wash the poor car tmrw and start getting the Micra together as a more winter based "runaround car" with Kei type ideas :)

So looking at the Nismo spoiler and spats next and the Nismo rear lip. Found genuine ones which is all good but have a problem... Can someone tell me 100% if all k11 rear bumpers fit each other as I have the later type with the **** plastic bit underneath but want the super s, SR or early painted one as I want a Nismo exhaust but need the cutout.

So anyone want to be brave and assure me it will fit straight on? :-D

Well my pre face lift has a facelift bumper on her :) so can only presume it'd work the other way round :D X
 
Rears yes, fronts wise a facelift will fit a pre facelift but leave a horrible gap under thr lights, and a pre facelift front bumper won't fit a facelift.
