Due to do an oil change this week on a 1 litre '98. Do i need to change the sump plug sealing washer with the change or can i use the old one? The reason i ask is that we have an Almera too and that has a washer that compresses when the sump plug is tightened and needs to be replaced every oil...

My '98 1 litre engine sounds like a taxi when run to normal operating temperature. Not so bad when started from cold, but progressively gets worse as engine warms. Any ideas???

My 1998 micra 1.0 only blows out cold air from the two middle vents, no matter what settings i have the controls on. All other vents blow out hot or cold depending on control settings. I get around the problem by keeping the middle ones closed but is this normal?

K11 1998 1 litre micra I plan on replacing my stiff, imprecise gear linkage for a new one. By what i can see, the linkage has only 3 points of attachment to the car. One at the gearstick end, one to the gearbox gear selector, and one to the gearbox to act as support for the whole linkage...
