Ive had a two seater sofa in mine also a double matress chest of 7 draws solid bookcase :L coffee table a big telly..... genuinely surprised about the amount of rubbish I can fit in :) x

I've managed to get hold of some cheap lowering springs but keeping the low cost aspect in mind, I don't really want to spend £80-£100 on an adjustable panhard rod... can someone tell me/link me to some offset bushes or tell me an equivalent one i can use, thanks.

offset bushes have to be custom made jamie

they are 40mm loweing springs, would there be a way that i can just bash the standard beam to bend it slightly which will in turn make it shorter? can i use these bmw bushes? does anyone know the dimensions that i will need? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-E30-M...arts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3f0831af75
You *may* be able to get away without an adjustable rod for a 40mm drop. Any more than that though and it's a definite necessity. I'm using one for my 40mm drop, just to be safe.

I'm sure I've seen someone bend their rod to make it shorter, but that's pretty ghetto. Another possibility would be cut and weld a stock rod, but again that's ghetto.

Have a look for second hand ones. I got mine for £40, needs refurbing though.

I have looked but can't find any atm. The guy I'm getting them off has a rod that he's used hut dais was new a few weeks ago and wants to sell to me for 80... Have a look at the pics I have attaches, my panhard rod doesn't look too steep or is that because its parked slightly facing up hill?

OK I've just used trigonometry to work it out, it seems with a 40mm drop, the shift will only be about 5mm, which doesn't seem very considerable.. Do I even NEED an adjustable p/rod?

thats exactly what i get too jamie (5mm shift @ 40mm and another 3mm @ 80mm drop) so you will end up with a 10mm poke difference on the 2 rear wheels (40mm drop)

Oh you mean might poke out, my wheels are quite far in so won't be noticeable... Does that mean that I don't need an adjustable p/rod? Could I get away with it or will 5mm make a lot of difference

it just looks naff from behind basically jamie, you could fit a 10mm spacer on 1 side ? or an offset bush on the o/s end of the p/rod gives 7mm of shift

Well firstly, I have standard steels so they are really far in anyway, would it be noticeable and also, where can I get a bush (sorry I'm being a bit stupid)
