My long promised blog

As a scene kid I find this offensive. There's much more to it than-
No, you're right. Even I can't justify it, apart from I think it looks cool.

'Sent from my bed using paper planes'
What bothers me is people do it like its a new fresh idea all the time... in case you couldn't see that :p

I do hate the word 'fresh'. I swear if I see one more Stanced VAG with the word 'fresh' describing it I'm going to go a little bit (more) mad.

Am I allowed to get more mad?
I fear more K10s will sacrifice their innocence if I do :p

I'm not sure you can get 'more' mad, and if you did, we wouldn't know, because you would have broke the very scale madness is measured on!

No offence to anyone who enjoys such things, I'm all for general enjoyment, but I love all the 'stanced' cars with 'lows' and 'poke'.

I find them very amusing to watch going over speed bumps, getting in and out of carparks and very rarely going quickly anywhere for fear of them spontaneously disintegrating.

In terms of stickers, aside from the obvious factory fitted Nissan badges front and rear, I enjoy having only 2 stickers on the whole car and those are subtle small ones from my tuner. Any and all other stickers relating to various components are left firmly in their boxes so no hints are given away to anyone attempting to find out what's in there ;)

Most of my stickers will soon just be advertising my Facebook pages, or general funny ones. Some of the shopping list type stickers are cringeworthy.

People give the stance guys a hard time, but fair enough for them doing what they want to do! If everyone built out and out racecars it'd be boring.

To be honest i do like a nice stanced car, but i could never own one... Rather have a slow car and travel fast than a stanced fast car and go slow...

Yeah.. Stancing fast cars has always confused me. M3's and Subies? I mean why...

When you put it like that I got to say I like stanced cars too :p
Speed bumps being a prime example round here... though I wouldn't call the cars here 'stanced' more like collapsed torsion bars and sagging springs. Entertaining nonetheless

I like stickers... less of the car to clean. Some stickers I dont have a choice on wearing at some events but I dont mind :D although there's that many on there (rear is a tad bare) people think I'm just your usual 1litre chav racer... fine by me :p
Plus... my car will soon become my company advert. Its taken alot of my money so now its time it earnt its keep.
If you really dont want those manufacturers stickers... I have space

Nothing new for H701 apart from radiator piping and a new, bigger radiator. Other than that its still happily plodding along

Pick me up a GA16 for £20? :L
All the posh/rare engines love here. There's a straight 5/6 fiat turbo engine
Subaru Coupe flat 6 engine
Allsorts... that's just one side... there's the other side and all the cars outside :p

Then there's gearbox racks
Wheel racks
Its like heaven... there's not alot I can't get usually :D

H701 has qualified as a 'Modified Series Production Car' for this years sprint season. About time I got to clear its throat out ready for a blast

Not sure where that leaves me with you @Skinner_87 and @Huggy444 (Alex yours won't be a classed production car now will it)

There are slightly different classes over here mate, as yours is fully road legal you'd be in with me :)

there is a rally class but thats pre 1981

Ah. Just as we'd suspected :p

Should make for some entertaining the events

Got a prezent from my friends at JS Performance
Some nice custom hoses for H701.
(Plus a new industrial henry hoover :D)

Present spelt with a z because the app turns s.ent plus whatever follows into a signature :/
@James new issue?

No update from me in a while :/
Well. Nissanubaru is taking a back seat for a little while and turning my attention back to H701 for a bit and finish the car the way I wanted rather than "that'll do"

Haven't got many pictures at all I just got on with it :)

What I do have is
My new manifold ready which is a way out port wise but is much better

That's the only progress pic I have of that engine

Got one of my other
Nice new green pipes finally put on. And the nice addition of the stainless bolts

Been correcting my own niggly jobs too. Boot rattle, proper cv clips, wiring cut and crimp connectors added so I can remove parts simpler :)

MOT tomorrow required some attention to the auto-adjusters and the handbrake.
Ground the lip off my drums and sorted the adjusters. Adjusted h/b cable to suit. All set

Insulated/secured my battery in its box

And that's me MOT ready, hard life on a fresh build
