My long promised blog

Basically andy, go build some direct fit micra coilovers and sell em for a couple of hundred, you'd make more than you would robbing armoured trucks on gta :p

But armoured trucks are free to rob and unlimited :p

I think we've had the idea before but there was no interest

Build like 4 sets, they'll sell eventually. If they sell fast you can justify more, if they sell slow you won't have too much invested. If you get them under £250 you'll pull a lot of the sales that go to polo/corsa setups...

Whatever I buy em in at I'd add £50 to cover the 2 hours I'd use to make em up

Did a bit of rollcage stuff for an hour or two today.
New design so I'm recycling my old one that never got installed. This way is more efficient for the harnesses :)

I love it when people comment on such things with no idea what they're on about
Had someone say that my rear legs are too close together and they stop the car being crushed etc.
I explained how a roll cage is designed to protect the occupants not the car and that he wont find a tighter fitting rollover bar for the micra.
Was a short entertaining conversation

1 picture per post so expect a few more posts.
Perfect bird mouth ends... with a grinder and grinding disc... no fancy tools required ;)
Its easy when you know how etc etc

That looks rather solid :p random question, what watt spot lamps do you run Andy?
Will be when I actually weld it :p

Depends for what event matey. I've got 55w bulbs in at the mo for tarmac. And they give plenty of light.
I also use spotlights with driving light lenses. Range with the spread

Not quite like the "spotlights" everyone thinks they have.... or as we know em... fog lights

That's the cam my friend :)

so yeah was built for it :) that be why i thought it was a lil slow pottering around, had 50mph in 2nd the other day and still wanted to go more but have no rev counter and unsure at what rev i would get valve bounce

It'll keep going and going. I cant remember I was around 6-7k no valve bounce :) but I only ever did it once.... hence got no idea :p

Nooo... valve bounce is where the cam is moving too fast for the valve springs. So they bounce/float. Its a natural rev limiter.
If you stick in stronger springs (which you have) it'll rev more but still eventually bounce

Good good, I guess 55w is much more than normal fog lights/full beam anyway

This mandatory data installation of games these days is annoying.... if I wanted to sit around and upload it myself .. I wouldn't bother buying the bloody disc

Mandatory 2gb upload
"For the best experience" an additional 14gb upload (in 2 parts)
Drop the bloody price if I've gotta do half the work

i only just seen this, i see just wasnt sure if it could cause damage, how do you know if its bouncing?
