GE16DE gearbox and driveshafts?

I plan to fit a GE16DE in my 86 K10 this winter, and would like to know what geardbox and driveshafts i should use.

I'm currently working on this conversion. I'm using a K11 1.3 gearbox and shafts on the GA16.
Money-willing, she should be running soon, so I'll let you know how it goes

I would use the preface 1.0 k11 g/box and k10 shafts personally

The pre 98 1.0 has the same size and shape gearbox and shafts as the k10, and mine has stood 130 hp and 123 lbft so far
You will need to fit the flywheel and a hybrid 1.0/1.3 clutch for that tho

The GA boosts very well by all accounts. Its a heavy block tho eh, k10 owners have tended to for carbed Cg or GA,s in the past

Yeah ive read that the GA is iron block, so either CG10 or CG13 would be better for handling, carbs is not an option tho, i hate carbs, fuel injection controled by Megasquirt is the way i want to go.

Are the CG10 and CG13 same block with different bore? or is it stroked to give more cc?

The K11 i saw at the junkyard today was injected.

The megasquirt would fit under the glove compartment, where to there ar two big cable rubber holes, and my car is lefthand drive.

Anyone know where i could buy forged pistons and rods for the CG10/13? i would want around 200hp at the crank

I've heard the GA16 can take over 300BHP with stock internals.

It also takes Vitara Pistons as an upgrade. (But I really don't know much about this)
