Ah its not that bad mckenziecz has been working on his mr2 as of late and had a lot worse damage than that and is doing an awesome job on it!
just keep going at it! good luck (Y)

cheers for the encouragements this vehicle bought (last year march)originaly to teach someone to drive---------three months later and with a lot of improvement in theyr driving (not knowing a thing abought it before) they gave up so its just me myself and car and pulled the finger out to find a descent micra/jap website
and realy um enjoying the road at the moment having previous to this a white k reg 1ltr lx which had very comfy front seats i prefer them to the SR ones and i liked the head rest better ---previous to that had a lovely red g plate k10(the bigger bumpers one)
the feel of the 1.3 engine is very good makes the car feel larger less struggling nothing wrong with the 1ltr either-- loved it
fitted and wired the kenwood receiver on the lonesums had no need for the illumination wire so LEFT IT ALONE on instinct that was last summer-- amp wired up ---- old 80's BMW gear knob on covers the lengh of the metal black gear stick
changed that nats light for a ----- colord one got to concentrate on the body now may take time so ............. gona show you the gear knob still
thanks

wat model mr2 one boys turned his into the ferari its taken about 5 years so far its near wemblay

not a bad looking sr there, just needs a bit bodywork to sort it out.

you said it
i would realy like the idea of the thing to be basic standard straight i mean like yours
and all uk cars the damp kills metal so its that much more of a plus having all the nessesarys cheked and clean straight body work is the sign of that
oh and i didnt know i could get the pics to display straight up like that

Nice little project you got there, new bumper time I guess, too much hard work fixing the one on there. Get a nice chunky bodykit :p

thanks nice will let you know
might have to change no plates to its got that peugeot garage markings might be the curse on it??

strip it-heavy work load like this may mean a 6 months rest now:grinning:
DSC00266.jpg

after removal their appears to be laquer and paint build up along the lines of the strips(previous body repair)
so now MOT's in november and inspection starts tomoro
also lightend flywheel and 1.3 gearbox will be installed(has a lovely 1.0 gear box at the moment that is amazing for street racer qualitys-sorry x-reg micra other day for blowing you out-pinner/harrow:grinning:)
any advice on dooin the flywheel appreciated as i would have to explain to the machining shop EXACTLY what is required
thanks--------Advice received and taken

was real confused for a min there, i thought there car was being crushed on the back of the truck, and i thought the grass was the cracked and crushed window haha, then looked at the new pic and was like wtf. looking good man ;)

this car has had repair done before so had ridges built up where the strips were------so would need paint job to get it back smooth
but usualy you dont need to -- heat gun low heat run along the length of the strip ,keep doing that till the stiky stuff behind softens
then the whole strips comes away without much hassle-----mind out as it does get hotish(gloves?i didnt)
then petrol to remove the rest of the stiky left on the paint then a little polish,i havent done this last bit yet
