Wire connector under the seat

Hi, I just bought a used march k11 1.3 AT, cleaned it up today and noticed that there is a wire under the mat with a connector matching the one under the seat.

What is it for? sorry mine did not come with the owners manual.

it will be the sensor wire to a pressure switch in the seat, it illuminates the seatbelt light if theres someone in the seat and the belt isn't fastened.

no wonder it's been disconnected, i hate them things, you know if it's not fastened because you've not fastened it, it's like those cars with the "your key is still in the ignition" beep, you're not likely to forget! how would you lock the door!!!
