Wiper pivot k12

hi ordered some new link rods to rectify movement in the wipers

On stripping it down I found it was the near side wiper pivot that has worn in the plastic housing

Has anyone managed to re sleeve the plastic housing or work out how to stop the movement within the pivot

Cheers

Hi Mike,
I had the same problem in late 2011 with my 2006 K12. I bought replacement linkages via Amazon from a firm called Wipex. You have to split your existing ones and press your spindles into the new sockets, which are claimed to greatly outlast the Nissan ones. So far, I am still delighted with them, despite only doing the worst one due to bad weather looming. They are a tight fit, but I managed it with my vice and mole grips so they are not really difficult. They are still for sale on Amazon for £29.10 plus delivery - far cheaper than buying from Nissan. Hope this helps.
