What Torque Wrench Should i Get

Hiya all,
I am going to be changing the cams on my 1.0L some time soon and will be needing a Torque wrench.
I dont know much about these tools. What shall i buy? What torque settings will it need to do this work?

I've had the Halfords ones for years, they seem pretty good and get well reviewed.

Cool, but what range of torques do i need on it for general engine work?

They do 2, I've got both. IIRC, it's about £130 for the pair but they cover everything .

the highest you'll need on a micra are the driveshaft nuts at 177Nm

i have a clarke 1/2" torque wrench i brought off machine mart 6yrs ago and still works fine

dunno how accurate it is now after yrs of work but as long as its close enough to the torque ballpark.

After a bit of searching it looks like the Camshaft Bearing Cap Bolts only need to be 11Nm.............mmmmm.....so another search on ebay tuns up this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/400156849...X:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649#ht_4316wt_1199
It should just about cover it eh? What do you think?

11nm is just hand tight.

that clarke wrench costs less than the ebay one and rated high enough to cover any job ur ever gonna do on any car

Ive got the halfords ones and there still doing me well. Recommend trying to get them through trade to save a few bob
