water leak from the air intake

hey all i have just discoverd a leak on my lower shelf inside my k10 from when it rains
it looks and feels to be comming from the air intake duct under the glove box (the one with the recurc flap)

any idea how i can stop this and where it might be comming from

are the drain holes clear that flow into the wings ?

they can get blocked with leaves and such like at this time of year.

where would i locate the place to clear them ?

if you remove the grille plate below the windscreen, you can reach to the corners of the recess towards the wings you should be able to find a rectangular hole at each side, they are the drains.

We all love questions, if there's something needed to be known about the Micra, I can guarantee there is someone that knows it, or someone that can make a very good guesstimate about it!!!
