Updates to Maggie Micra!

Hey guys and girls! Haven't done a proper post for a little while. But has been a busy week for the Micra! Firstly had the sills and cross member weilded up, booked Maggie in for an mot and passed with only one minor, which was a tyre close to the legal limit so just had that replaced. done a bit of spray painting along the bottom to hide the grey stripe, think it looks so much better all black. Then today I fitted a ram air induction kit, have heard many mixed reviews about induction kits and such stuff but I personally think it's done the car alot of favours! Definitely sounds better. Then just gave her a good wash and shine :) have got a few pictures of bits from the week but I apologise about the horrible hub caps, enjoy!

Looking clean!

Out of interest, are the Ram Filters just Foam? or do they have some mesh on the inside? I'm trialing a el-cheapo enclosed cone right now, not paying expensive till I know how well they perform ;)

The filters that sit on top of the TB do give the best sound.
I had a K&N that was similar but I noticed flat spots throughout the rev range.

Like many on here I settled for the enclosed GA16 airbox and snorkel.

Ah I see! I haven't had any problems yet :)it does sound good though, I've got a flexihose to add yet to force the air in but unsure of where to put it, any ideas?
