Turbo De-Cat - Emissions

Was speaking to H&S Performance today (who will be doing some of the fitting of the turbo conversion for me) as got talking about the de-cat. They said a de-cat would be allowed on a turbo'd engine and it wouldnt effect the MOT/emissions. Reason being that the MOT database doesnt have 'Micra Turbo' on its system, and that the engine wasnt fitted from factory (yes,i know the engine was,but the turbo wasnt)

Therefore they can only do a part emissions test and it'd be classed as a kit car?

Thoughts?

Yeah i think you are gonna come across some problems when MOT comes along :( fingers and toes all crossed though just in case i go this way in future but everything is getting stricter so beware!

it does,nt sound legit to me personally, this sounds a bit more feasible tho
