yay or nay to cam'n the 1.3T

would like to know the pros and cons if anyone knows of any? i.e what its like running on and off boost ect ect as its been covered on the .au site but they dont seem to come to a conclusion

i say nay :)
too much overlap will let unburnt fuel through and overheat the turbo and downpipe
too much inlet lag will make it laggy (depending on the size of turbo) :)

On a near stock engine no point. 1.3 cams are perfectly good enough.

BTW frank thats not really true. I have mapped loads of big turbo cars with quite wild cams in the 270+ deg area. I have never yet had a cam related problem.

well its either true or false ed, does more duration increase lag or not ? and will the turbo/downpipe not get hotter if you burn some of the fuel there, rather than burn it all in the cylinder ?

no to cam'n the car then, so what bhp can the stock internals cope with before and after replaceing the HG for the nismo one?
