throttle body relocation

Hi all just a quick one, can the throttle body be laid on its side, it site straight up as standard but can it be turned 90 degrees, so the air would pass from say right to left rather than top to bottom

hope that makes sense.

No one makes a Micra one as far as I'm aware, a gain of 5-10hp perhaps on something similar

No that's just an example of the type of manifold the OP wants to build. The photo is of a Honda D-series engine fitted in a Mini by superfastminis in America.

It would be a one off mate, prob modified one off a different car. If you check out dave bull's 'little bandit' i think that had a similar style mani.
