Hi all, back when I got my N14 2.0L calipers the pulsar they came off had an incorrect size bolt used holding the torque bracket to the hub. When i got them home and put through the correct size bolt 60% of the thread poped out, so i got out the torque wrench and did them up per nissan spec and all was good. Well i'm going too sort out the torn diaphragm in my brake booster, adn thought i'd get this sorted out for peace of mind.
So, question is...like too know opinions on different brands/styles of thread repair. Helicoil brand is out of stock in qld, with no ETA. I've heard their is aircraft ctrenth helicoils and then there is general diy ones, like to have something really garunteed as this is the brakes we are talking about. Any help appreciated,
