The TPPC K11

Hy everybody .
First a little more about me : I'm Jérémi, I'm 21 and I'm from France (correze).

So the micra now. It's a K11 lagoon proudly powered by its CG10DE and its procession of 55hp. I bought it 2 years ago. Here is at the beginning :

But why TPPC : because Touche Pas P'tit Con ( don't touch little as***le)

I plan to do something light, fun to drive, fast in corners.

Modifications :
-Wiechers sport strut bar (Alu)
-Wiechers sport lower arm bar (Alu)
-Front swaybar (from 1.3l)
-Koni yellow shocks
-Apex spring (-35mm)

To do :
-homemade short shifter
-homemade exhaust manifold
-homemade airbox
-rollcage
-bucket seat
-starcup bumpers
-lightening
....

I'm going to do something like that (with my seedlines instead of grids):

Now, what I've already done

Koni and apex spring :

assembly :

With the thumb wheel to adjust the hardness :

After the car was like that :

We can't really see the difference whit this picture ^^.

First stage to save weight, remove the rear seat :

Speedlines alloys (from renault 9 turbo) :

I have to paint them, but don't now how. I probably paint them in white, but I also think about black, bronze or something more fun like yellow...

Last things I do :

Put the Weichers strut bar and lower arm bar :

dscf2513v.jpg

and I remove side protective mouldings (dont know how to say in English)

Et voila, I hope this thread will please you, and sorry for my poor english.;)

In front, you just have to use the thumb wheel to make them harder :
reglage-1-product.jpg

More complicated in the back because you must get them off :
you have to compress and twist at the same time.
reglage-3-product.jpg

There are 4 positions (one position every 180°), the softest is just a little harder than OEM, the harsest is really...hard ^^

Because it's my daily, I put the back in first position (softest) and front in second position. I have them for one years, I've make approximately 25 000km and they are still new.
It's not very expensive, and It is a very good alternative in coilovers when we make few trackdays.

Some news :

Alloys are sanded :

And, because I plan to do a fake Star-Cup, why I wouldn't do a Fake Nismo :

The photoshop is bad, but I like the idea.

Edit : Better like that ^^ :p thank to Wannabe, a "micra-addict" member :

Some news !

I work on the radiator grill :

It was really hard to do this because it was a pre-facelift grill, so I had to cut a lot of it to do something straight.
I don't know how that's going to finish....:confused::p

Actually I like the open later pre facelift grill, it looks more stock than an open square grill.

Hy everybody , some news. I changed the air filter, fuel filter, lambda sonde and finally put news spark plugs (bosh super4) and then clean a little the engine bay to remove the rest of salt from this winter :

And re-polish a little the camshaft cover :
img3340i.jpg

Soon, I shall take care of the wheels.

I also test how many kms I can do. Result : 620kms
I would have without doubts been able to do 650 before being out of fuel.
Knowing that I made many city (approximately 150km) I think that I would easily do 750km, and that is really annoying for my father who makes not much with a more recent car and 20 liters more. :D

I've them on my car! very good compromise for street and few trackdays

Some airbox news :

I isolated it with alu tape. I think it's more psychological than efficient but I was bored ^^

I also begin to think about my homemade airbox :

It will be in place of the battery. I have to rework on inlet and outlet.

Hy, some news:

I did a flat floor for the rear :

0t5h.jpg

The carpet is coming soon.

And I have to change the wheel nuts for long ones, the
screw thread is M12x1.25 ?

Some news :

New bolt for the speedline
dno.JPG

carpet is in
lekx.jpg

I finally order an adjustablepanhard rod (whiteline) on rallynuts. After a month of wait, because whiteline took its time to deliver rallynuts.
But now it's home, and surprise, it's a monster :
0jvx.jpg

it seems really big !
when at the same length as the oem:
tfcu.jpg

And one of the bolt hole is too big.
So, definitively not the good one.
I took my best french accent to call Rallynuts, they say its not their fault (and I agree, it's whiteline's)
They sent me an another one and they take back this one, I don't have to pay anything.
So, very satisfied with rallynuts ! :)
