Thanks to everyone who replied, PMs too, with advice on the CVT gearbox issues we were having.. it did indeed die completely..
so a few weeks, and £270 later (+labour) a replacement box and powder clutch is in place.. and it drives like a new car. much much quicker too..
Hopefully this will last as theres only a 30day warranty on it!
Thanks also to 24/7 spares who sourced it..
and a bargain..
put a post '98 headlight up on ebay, and forgot to put a reserve on! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=10402&item=4541514902&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW have a look if you can use a n/s headlight, but theres only a few hours left!
