Hey all,
the world is in a pretty poor state, with the economy etc, Britan is full of problems like immigration control and teenage crimes etc, people are feeling down and depressed and the latest bout of cold weather hasn't helped.
i am sure this is partly responsible for a few upsets on the forum.
but i want to post something more positive. i want to thank the Micra Sports Club for making me feel welcome and teaching me lots of things.
when i first joined this club i was a N00b, i thought my CG13 engine had a carb! i knew nothing. but i have learned alot from here, and i have managed to help other people with their cars just from the information i picked up here. and its not just micra related either.
i have made alot of friends here too, the Brighton meets, and JAE have been some of the most awesome times in my life, it is great to be a part of something and have lots of people around you who are interested in the same thing you are.
when i first got my micra i had alot of crap from other people because it was a micra, i didn't find anyone who actually liked them, but then the MSC gave me a way of speaking to lots of other micra enthusiasts. some of them i didn't get on with, but thats life, people are all different, people won't always get on or have the same opinion but how boring would it be if they did? and what is the point in concentrating on the things we don't have in common rather than the reason we are all on this website? because we have a common interest which is Nissan Micras.
i know this sounds like a queens speach kinda crap, but i really am greatful for all the help i have got from people on this forum, and i am greatful to Ed for starting it, Kev for running it, and all the mods for keeping it a friendly place. i have been on lots of other forums and they are a mess with lots of abuse and swearing and text speak, its a nightmare.
