Tensioner ?

Hi All,
I am about to get both drivebelts refitted on to my K11 2003 Micra but I'm told to change the tensioner as well why should I do this when there appears to be nothing wrong with it? It's the belts is at fault not the tensioner I could understand if I could hear any squeals from the belt then it would be that but the V belt is starting to to come apart with age as the cars 14 years old.

As you say why bother changing it, unless the bearing is clearly worn or noisy I wouldn't change it.

Don't bother changing it unless it's noisey.
