suspect worn cv joints

My wifes car, is possibly has worn cv joints, and they will need to be replaced! ie. the car has a knocking noise from the left side of the car whenever we turn right with the accellerator on!

its a 94 M reg manual 1.0

Anyone got a clue how much this would cost to fit?

Well if you're interested I have 2 outer CV joint kits sitting in my garage which are no use to me as I now have a 1.3 engine.

I'll send you a pm, the car goes in for an mot tomorrow, thats when I find out if its all worth repairing (I figure it will be!!) I saw some on ebay for about 20 quid inc p&p so I can give you some money for it

btw if you do have a 1.3 engine, does that mean your cv joints need to be changed?
