Super S revcounter in a 1987 micra

Hey guy,
I converted my dash to a super s one. Everything is working fine, exept the revcounter.
I connected an extra wire at the signal input, but I don't know where to connect it in the engine bay. normally at the facelift k10 you have a red-white wire at the ignition coil.
but my 87 has only two wires at the coil, so I'm a bit confused.
Do you know how to connect it? or is it not possible

it goes to the negative on the ignition coil i beileve try it

yea negative on coil, usually the blue wire from the dizzy to the coil.

ah well I've forgotten to say my mate thinks it's too far off our way... cause we wanna drive to nottingham and york the first day.
one possibilty is the 26th but I don't know when we will pass there...

or do you have a garden where we can pitch up our tent? then I think I can convince him
