starting issues

I need help, i had starting issues with the micra (1.0 coilpack) I've changed the alternator and starter motor but the car still doesn't turnover.
battery is reading just over 12v, maybe its lost the guts to turn the engine over??? Any help asap please!!!

Check you have refitted all the leads especially earth leads properly.

Its reading just over 12v. Might just have to get a new one....

All leads are fitted correctly. I even checked the earth connection on the gearbox from the battery and its all good.

Is there power going to the starter motor? Could be a loose connection between it and the battery

what cold crank amps does the battery need to turn the micra over???

I had this exact problem when fiddling with the battery. Wouldn't turn over but there was power to starter. Turned out it still was the connection to battery. Was too weak that it wouldn't turn over. Not sure about amps

Just disconnected the starter motor and i can here the engine sparking. Do you think its because there isn't enough guts in the battery to turn it over???

Could be. Try another battery. Worth a try isn't it.
