Speedo Bulbs

apparently there is 4 diffrent types of bulbs for your speedo clocks

any idea which ones will be needed for a

K11 1994 1.3 Super s?

i've ordered size '486' bulbs which i believe fit the speedo dials

my 94 ss had 2x 10mm (same as side repeater) and about 10x 5mm bulbs

but you don't have any idea how i take the dash out to get to the clocks at all do any of you?

Theres 2 screws up above where your dials are,theres also 1 behind the steering column (you'll have to lower the steering wheel and remove the plastic trim/casing around the column)

Once you've done them the dash around the dials will come off.Theres 3 screws(left,right and top).Once you've removed them theres 3 wiring plugs you'll need to un-plug.Also a connector in the middle that is attached to your milage reader.

i hope you mean "286" bulbs mate???

i got the 286 bulbs and fitted them fine! require 4to change the colour behind dials!

yeah sorry 286!

Fitted mine today but only half the speedo light up (only 50pmh onwards light up )

did you check they light up before you fitted them? as only reason they wouldnt light is you have the bulbs the wrong way round in there housing!

so i need 286 which are the same as the standards?

my clock doesn't have a light and everything before 50 is off

i rang the car shop and he says theirs three types of 286

plain bulbes, ones with little plastic clips on and some other kind

any ideas lads?
