Dim speedo at night

Hey all!

I just bought a used 2008 Micra, & I'm a little in the dark at the moment!

When driving at night, the speedometer is very dim, basically unusable. I can't find a brightness switch & when I tried looking up I found nothing.

Other lights in the dash (eg warning lights) are nice and bright, so I'm guessing there must be multiple bulbs in there & the speedo ones might need replacing? Everything I've found for changing the bulbs is for the K11 - anyone have tips for the K12? Or a manual I could download?

Speedo lights are very easy to change.. Look for how to remove the radio.. However upon taking the two driver n passenger side plastic pillars panel off, pull up the top of speedo dashboard/plastic (whole dashboard should come off) now should be able to see the speedo lights from outside (windscreen) twist and bulbs will come off. U could try replacing it n see if the sorts the issue. Hope someone else have alternative ideas.
