Speedo and fuel gage playing up need help ASAP

Hi guys in got a 2003 micra k11 and last night I was out with a few mates and we parked up went into asda I come back to my car jumped in turned the key started fine then looked down no speedo the engine warning light is on and my fuel gauge is all over the place up Down then says iv got low file etc I'm completely stumped can someone help me please ASAP

Nope iv found the connector to the speedo has broke off is they what could be causing it
