Something's broken...

Hey guys

1.3 LX, and directly square with the drivers door, underneath the car, was a bit of rubber with metal inside hanging off the car. The metal had basically rusted through, but it looks like some kind of support beam, only about 1-2 innches in width. Is it serious??

this come off my 1.3LX also, i dont know what it was lol but i dont think its anything to do with the exhuast. i thought it was some sort of splashguard?? hopefully somebody else will enlighten us all
