Slight chugging on idle

Hi

Will the timing chain being a bit out cause the car to chug a bit on idle? Ive recently topped up the oil as this was a bit low but it still seems to be doing it. Id love to make the car less rattly and run smoother. Any ideas would be great

If the timing isn't right, then it won't idle properly. How badly it idles will depend on how far the timing is out.

I would love to fix it cars nearly done 100k but then again i see no reason why it couldnt go to 120k which is potentially the next 2 years. Kind of seems worthwhile doing as its likely to get worse
