Rubbish clear side repeaters

Took delivery of my clear side repeaters this morning and they dont even fit, build quality is poor and the bulb holder just slops around in the middle and dosent hold at all, they look like they wont fit in the wings properly either

basically just venting cause this has narked me right off, whoever made these has obviously never seen a micra side repeater

anyway rant over, they only cost 8 quid so i spose i shouldve expected it.. now do i send them back to get my 8 quid or try and swap the lenses over?

Tape the bulbs into the lenses. If you bought the right ones, they should fit. Just push them in where the tabs go in, and twist.

yeah i tried that, but as you can see in the pic, the bit where its supposed to twist fit into are far to big and the bulb holder just slops about,

I've got the same ones, they fit the wing fine you just have to tape the bulb into it which takes 2 secs.

They are for japanese cars which have different wiring plugs, if you can source some off a scraped march then you will be sorted otherwise bodge to your hearts content.

figured hot glue was the best, strong enough to hold it on but i can still pull it apart if a bulb blows

I had to tape the bulbs in place on mine too but it attched to the wing just fine.
