Rubbish 100nx carbs?

My brothers got a '92 J reg 100NX carb with no ecu as far as I can tell. The carb seems to be spluttering all of a sudden. I have been advised that it could be a jet that needs replacing. If this is the case anybody got any idea how much a kit for this would cost and if (this is a big if) anyone would possibly have a part number. Ive taken it to two garages and they dont seem to be able to set up the carb right . Its fine when on choke but as soon as the choke dips the idle is all over the place and it just cuts out randomly. Please help as im getting to my wits end

Its probably been scrapped for the same reason....

Your best bet would be to check out www.100nx.com for advice. I believe quite a few have had similar problems with their carb models.
