Going to see a friend in the morning to pick up a set of speedo clocks with rev meter for the k11, he has 2 ,both with speedo's and both pre facelift ones,ones of which are the plain black back ground and the other which are green..i know the plain black ones will fit and work as normal but would the green ones also be plug and play? or will they need modifying to work as i prefer the green ones..

As long as your car has the leccy mileometer and the green one has, it will be plug and play.
If the green one has a mechanical, and yours is a leccy mileometer, it will not fit. I don't know what year they changed the mileometer.
As a footnote, if it does not fit, you can take the green dials off and stick them to yours, I've done it a few posts back on the wdydtymt thread.
