Correct, It's Coil per plug. The only way you will be able to link up the rev counter to a CPP micra is direct to the ECU. I went through all of this when trying to fit mine and eventually gave up in preference of an engine transplant (it seemed less hastle)

and this is why i hate modern cars you need an electrition and computer genuis to fix the dam things
dunno about nissan but volvo now a days when you go for a service they plug your car into a computer it checks it and automatiacally orders the replacement psarts from sweden, thatrs just insane
