Restoring faded red paint

Well after 14 years the paint on my Micra has gone from AJ4 flame red to a patchy pink eyesore, I've tried T-cut and Mer to no avail. Anyone got any hints on how to restore it to a more pleasing red colour? any different liquids I could use?

Ooh, and also some of the laquer has peeled off from the rear wing, and loooks ugly, any hints for that too, I'll try to get a picture in the daylight.

Cheers guys.

3m cutting compound is quite good. Used an angle grinder with a polishing bonnet fitted with some of that on my car and it brought the colour back

what arnold said works, my old red car was the same i a friend done it

the back of that was pink like you said

i dont know what he used, he did spend about 3 hours doing it though and that was for nothing :) he did say for the bottle of stuff he was using it cost £50, but it would do about 20 cars, and he never used an angle grinder with a pad, it was like a thing that was made for doing it and that cost over £100
