Repair Panels

Hello.
I've just bought a '93 Micra. I intend repairing the rear sills and floor as tinworm has done its worst.
Can anyone please recommend a good source of repair panels to make life with the Mig easier ?
Also - do the cone like shaped "covers" above the rear springs do anything ? thanks for any help.

As far as i know, the covers on the rear springs are just that, covers. You can easily lift them off to have a look.
