How do people do this? I need to change mines and the screw is soo bloomin tight. I don't want to mess up the screw as well so have to be very careful.

any ideas? Obviously I can't heat it lol as theres likely to be petrol vapour in there even though i think its empty it drips every no and then lol.

get some mole grips on it and when i get home i will get a couple of screws out of my spare car and send them to you.
otherwise, WD40? then leave it and respray then leave it and respray...
not sure if an impact screwdriver is a good idea? what do they screw into?

alan bolts are a good idea tbh, prob worth just replacing them all with nice stainless alan bolts, but my offer does still stand, thats if i can get some out without nackering them:D

I managed to take of 6 with a good screwdriver but 2 are a little rounded so I am gonna use a mole grip when I get to the workshop.

You don't need to send the screws Ed, I am sure I can find some int he workshop but thanks for the offer.

I should have the wiring diagram finished today BTW we'll chat later.
