remote amp install

without going into too much detail here what i`m looking to do is fit an amp into my car not connected to a headunit now i`m pretty sure the earth main power and audio leads would be wired up as normal but where would i be able to take the little remote signal from that actually turns the amp on the amp will be mounted in the boot if this helps

it`s in a k12

If you want to turn the amp on yourself manually, i'd say splice off from the constant 12V from the battery and just add a switch before it goes into the remote input as the remote is just looking for a 12V feed to turn on the amp.

i wanted the same thing and wired in a switch on the remote wire from my headunit, but im sure that any +12V feed would do as the remote wire.
