Radiator level

I'm fitting a new radiator, does it have to be mounted at a certain level with the engine? Or can I put it wherever?

its gonna be hard to fill it if the header tank (top of the rad) is lower than the cylinder head eh neil

So the top of the radiator cap should be no lower than the top of the pistons say?

there are sure to be water galleries half way up the head mate

Hmmm, il have to check the spare head at workshop tomorw now to see what's what
