Question about Gaugepanel connector

Hello!

After searching the scappys for over a year, I finally found a gauge panel with an rpm gauge etc. Usually this should be plug and play. However, my friend has disconnected the blue wire that leads to the distributor from the main plug that connects to the panel. Does anybody know which plug (number) it needs to be connected back into? Seeing the rpm gauge doesn't work right now because of it. I have a 98 Micra (facelift).

i think its the blue and black wire on the clocks plug mate. there is a massive thread about it on here. just search tacho (Y)

Well the thing is.. the connector that goes into the clocks has no blue wire anymore, since my friend accidently pulled it out. I need to know which plugnumber it needs to be connected to

should be the one that has no wire going to it surely ?

There's several empty ones Can't check at the moment which ones are empty since the car is at a friend's place.

just stick it in random. cant see it doing much damage apart from blowing a fuse or 2

Will try haha.. cheers mate! Car can't be driven at the moment since it has a blown headergasket so
