I have a 1998 S Reg Micra that has the standard Nissan Remote Central Locking. When I bought the car back in 2004 the garage said there was a problem with the central locking and would fix it before I collected the car which they did and the central locking worked for some time then it stopped. I searched the internet and came across the instructions on reprogramming the fobs which I tried and managed to get it working again. This lasted for about 18 months until it stopped working once again. I changed the fob batteries, tried reprogramming them and even unplugging the main car battery for a minute to reset the car but nothing works. I've tried several times over the past 2 years to get it working again without success.
