yeah, defo adds to it having the lights under the seats aswell. didnt have the same effect with them just under the dash..

Comments welcome (apart from clean it!)

Its looking pretty good that Simmo. How wide are the wheels, because with 6.5" wheels and 45 profile tyres this should avoid the scraping. :) Keep up the good work though mate its coming on. As for kits Super S kits were the only standard one, if you want something more extreme it will have to be custom, best fits are novas, corsas. Super S kits do look nice though. :) I know the feeling about been a student, I barely have any money to spend on the car too, but it gets as much as it can do lol. Keep it going though and I'm sure you will have a decent looking micra at the end of it all. :)

There's some nice K10's there. :)

Herr_spl1ff, I think we are the only 2 here who own the collette model. I've gone for putting a set of facelift bumpers on mine, spraying them silver to match the sides/arches... and the grill with fogs etc....

Here's a quick spec list of my collette:

Facelift bumpers in silver
Grill with fogs
Skyline Number plates from work
Stainless steel 4" Jap syle slash cut backbox
Super S spoiler
Super S seats
Super S Speedo dials
NISMO carbon fibre gearknob
HKS Super powerflow universal induction kit
HKS Turbo timer (Even though the car is N/A, allows for slight cooling of engine before shut-down)
GTi-R alloys
GTi-R steering wheel
Facelift model GSX Folding mirrors
Facelift model GSX Gearstick surround
5000K White/blueish tint H4 Headlight bulbs imported from Hong Kong.

I think that's it at the moment. I am also buying a set of Super S doorcards, and a facelift bonnet off Umar. I'm planning to facelift the front of the car, and get a Super Turbo style grill made up for it at work. :D

Hi Kev,

You can fit a Turbo timer to a non-turbo. Some tuners (Apexi) have an N/A Timer... but you can still fit a turbo timer to a non-turbo. Mine came off a MKIV Supra TT, and wired up ok. :) There just isn't a loom to connect straight in.

Now you come to mention it Elliot, think you're right! I'm a big fan of the two tone paintwork, trying to keep everything in keeping with that. Going to spray my bumpers & grill black & generally just tidy it up, will be happy if I can get it as clean as yours :) Made a mess spraying my dash black/silver so got to tidy that, & got some luvverly alloys to just finish it off :slm: Will post pics when done...

Mods as in my sig, hopefully full exhaust on it's way, 421 manifold, 1 1/2" straight though :p & induction kit to fit. One day I'll have a tacho too...:glance:

I want something more extream!! Im just waiting for the good summer weather so i can spray all my new parts when i get them. im starting to look at bits an pieces for the outside now so i should have a good idea of what to get when the good weather returns.

Had a slight set back tonight though, some little bastard has puit a key right down the left hand side of my k10. To make it worse it was done right out side my house in brourd day light. Hopefully i should get alot of it out using T cut. Iv been planning on getting a whole body respray sometime in the future so that defo looks more likely now!

I cant remember what width the tires are now btu i will measure them and let u know. The diameter of the tyres is exactly the same as before thou so the problem definatly lies in the width of the tyers.

Oh, forgot my favourite pic, the only thing that has changed... My wikkid 'zorst tip innit, wiv rally heat shield:

20-Dog food tin.jpg

Or a dog food tin and some gaffer tape :D

well here is some of mine when i got it and cleaned it up since this was taken i have sprayed inside started fibreglass boot build and am fitting my powerflow as well as havin a white super s spoiler just need mounts for it

They're randoms from ebay. They were included in a car which I bought for 20 quid :p F reg 1l which I broke for spares and stole the seats from! They're well old but sooo comfy & really support you through the corners... ;)

thanks guys:love:

Jim-I get that said to me all the time:devil:

its a custom front bumper

i can't wait myself to take more pics :p

so wot u think then guys
should i put it on Donny show(if i still can)???

its got power aswell as LOOKS:love::p

Umar

Wow, that looks very nice Umar :grinning: Especially those polished parts...

What's that radiator that you are using? I use N13 Sunny's radiator.
How about other plans for the engine to achieve 200hp?
How are you going to mount the intercooler?

cheers guys:)

tbh i very much doubt it'll be on Donny show,
as i have a bit of work to do on it.

not to worry there are many other shows:)
i'll be going around the country soon, to diff shows etc
ooooh i can't wait:p

i'm using the CT rad atm, but i'm having a cutom rad made aswell as a Intercooler:devil:

atm its standard besides a filter:)
gonna have a full zorst made,CAI,intercooler, increased boost to about 1BAR,tune-up by a CT specialist:p,custom-made CAM,fuel pressure regulator:)

and this is only the beginning:devil:

Sounds good
What turbo are you going to use? Maybe T25 or even ball bearing T28?
By the way, 1,0 bar is not much for that engine. In Australia they use even 1,9-2,0 bars with stock internals and O-ringed block. For T2 turbo over 1 bar is not good, but with T28bb...;)

Here are the engine mods that I have:
- fully repared and fresh rebuilt
- ported nissan motorsport 15M 104 FI-head
- intake and exhaust manifolds matched to the new head
- 41mm throttle body (stock is only 34mm)
- block bored to 77mm (with oversize pistons) -> 1527cc
- lighter flywheel (1/3 taken off)
- lighter groove pulley
- higher and wider lift cam
- 2½ inch downpipe and 2 inch exhaust with one straight through muffler
- free flow aircleaner with heat shield and fresh air coming from the front of the car
- too big intercooler
- by-pass valve added
- normal blow-off valve blocked so that I can use over 0,8bar boost
- 1,0bar boost pressure
Now I just have to wait that spring comes and it will be warm enough (dry asphalt) to tune the engine. If I can't get it tuned as I want, like if I don't get mixtures and ignition right, I'll modifye the ECU so that I can adjust ignition timing and mixture ratio when I'm inside the car and driving. Now I only can adjust boost pressure.

Oh, and for the actual topic, here's the newest pic from my carage:

great stuff.
plenty of mods you've done:)
wot power you looking at>?

i know a fair bit about these engines:)
like i said
this is only the beginning :p

did u replace all seals etc when u rebuilt it?

are you using forged pistons?

have you got your cam custom-made?

you should keep it 2.5" bore all the way through as its recommended!

i don't think your Intercooler will do a good job, as its too big (In my opinion)

by bypass-valve added- do you mean Dump/Blowoff valve? atmospheric or re-circulating>?

wot turbo are you using?

are you using the stock ECU?

umar

130-140hp maybe...

what comes in the end...
...I've seen few 300hp E15ET's :upside:

yes

Super S 1.5T said:

no

no, it's E16 cam

Why? 2 inch pipe flows well up to 175hp. (But 2½ inch well over 200hp...)

Super S 1.5T said:

The bigger the intercooler, the bigger the cooling effect of the boosted intake air, the bigger the amount of power (the bigger the lag, but so would also be with bigger turbo...)

Super S 1.5T said:

Same as dump-valve, atmospheric type. Re-circulating dump is usually called bypass-valve, as it is in most factory turboes. Mine is from Saab 9000 and it's the re-circulating type, but that pipe were it normally recirculates the air back isn't connected, so it works basicly as dump-valve, but it still is bypass-valve. Did I explain confused enough

Super S 1.5T said:

Garrett T2

Super S 1.5T said:

yes

i reckon with them mods you'd be pushing out far more than 140bhp..maybe 170 odd if not more

keeping it 2.5" is not restricted the flow if u know wot i mean?

becos your using the standard size turbo, there'll be alot of lag cos of the large intercooler.

nice to know its more or less complete:)

when u getting it out for a test drive?

Well, I think I won't get that much because of that old T2

Super S 1.5T said:

I know what you mean. 2 inch pipe was just easier to fit

Super S 1.5T said:

T2 is small turbo so it starts boosting earlier than for example T25, so big intercooler has nearly the same effect as bigger turbo. Not that much power, but better air temperature for the engine.

Maybe in april when snow is melted and I can find some place where I can fine tune the engine. I'm using StreetDyno-software for tuning the engine. It's a software that counts the acceleration of the car by many variables (like gearing, air temperature etc) and ignition signal. I can't get "absolute" thruth about the engine's power, because it's hard to specify transmission power losses, but I can see that am I going in right direction if I for example adjust the mixture ratio etc. Very handy software and it was nearly free because I built the "signal box" by myself.
I have to find some asphalt road that is not used as normal roadway because of two reasons: 1. I don't want to risk other people when I'm testing the car 2. I don't have driving license yet because I'm not old enough and I don't want to get caught driving underage.

By the way, how much have you spent on your car Umar? I've used about £1400-£1500

cheers, I've got a super s spoiler to go on, also when i'm back from uni in a few weeks i will have some pre facelift small bumper to go (still not sure if it will work or not, but small bumper MK2 golfs look good). As for rims i fancy some of these:
ATS-Classic.jpg

13" ATS classics, as wide as posible with very low profile tyres, but to make this work i will have to go lower than -35.

Those are some niiice rims! Look like the ones I've got to go on, will have to sort it & get some pics up. Like your plan :)

mat T: nice car, but think the grill would look nice without the fogs and meshed.

cheers but the SPOT lights are staying, how else am i supposed to charge down country roads in the middle of the night? and the grill is meshed tis painted black :D

mine is the white one on the end at the mo im just sortin my exhaust out its on but needs some tweeking and im doing the fibreglass boot build ready for jae also got fog lights to fit in front bumper

There's some nice K10's there! :D

Matt, I do like your grill. I did something similar to mine, untill somebody ripped the oval foglights out the grill. :(

I'm buying a load of bits off Umar in a couple of weeks. I'm getting a Super S rear bumper, Foah front bumper I believe... both of which will be sprayed in silver to replace my standard bumpers. I'm also getting the sideskirts too, which will be sprayed in silver, a facelift bonnet with facelift headlights... and the Super S door cards too. :D

Mine will then be a kind of Super S in the black and silver collette colours. :D

I'll be posting pictures of it in about a months time, once all the new bits are on and sprayed up. :)

Matt, your's should look good with the pre-facelift bumpers on. I've not seen a facelift version with pre-facelift bumpers on I don't think. :)

well, this is what I've been doing since wednesday. It's not much, but it's about all i'll do to my micra (too expensive  )

some non loud speakers.. (still need some work)

that's it..

edit. also highly illegal in this country now aswell

so you have no chance

Have no chance what?? that is a slightly extreme example those are 13"x8"'s, i was going for 13x7's or 6  then again that golf is a UK car with a full mot dispite the wheels poking that far out of the arches :D

ECLIPSE: i love that interior looks great.

it is illegal for the wheels to stick out further than the arches now, so iyou wiont have a chance of doing it and it being road legal

yes i know  i was planing on having the wheels sticking out on the very limits of the arches, if possible have a body shop add slightly fliared arches, the stretched tyres are a must too :D
