Places to wild camp

Hi, anyone in Scotland know of any good places to pitch a tent for a few nights?

Trying to avoid a camp site if possible

i dont know but wont the tent turn into a parachute up them ways? one scotish friend said so
he had to run into his paa's house

I stay in Scotland and have camped locally a few times without any hassle, even when friends tents have vanished overnight. Just looking for some input to go a bit further from home
