payment methods through the bank

i am owed money n i aint to sure if wat the guy who owes me it is telling th truth.

i asked for the money to be paid into my bank accont n i gave him my details but as he is with another bank from me n there is no clydesdales in wigan area who i am with, so he says if he trys sending money he will be charged 25quid for doin it, i say its all alot of bull but i dont know

this is why i ask if any1 knows the workin of a bank or can help me?

im not sure on the bank thing tho only thing ive done is like hsbc to halifax (common banks) worked fine no costs
y go through bank y not some other method(paypal etc...) but also y not just post cash via special delivery if he says he b charged £25 via bank but special delivery cost i dunno £3
 
Seeing as Clydesdale is part of Yorkshire Bank I think I can help!
You need to send him a pay in slip (as thats the only way they can do it) and he can pay into any Yorkshire Bank for free
 
not 100% sure but at my work and throughout the dixons store groups, we do not accept Clydesdale bank notes...

we only accept notes that are sterling, this includes royal bank of scotland...

we get alot of angry scotish customers when we refuse i can tell ya...

this is only because the dsg bank (Natwest) charge the bank Clydesdale money...
