Omex 500? any good for K11 Pre-coil-pack?

Im almost given up on the hawk ecu and trying to get it set up.
Thinking of going for an omex, but just wondering if the old 500 series would work on a k11, it says it will work with distributorLESS systems, but doesnt that mean it will also work with a distributor?
anyone know anything about these ECU's???

Omex 500 will work with the K11, as long as you fit a trigger wheel and crank position sensor, as it will not work with the standard distributor pickup. I'm currently taking a break from fitting an Omex 600 to the car

Good stuff yeah, i'v already got most of the crank sensor set-up already done for the hawk so thats no biggie thanks for that mate(Y)
